FLIGHT SUBSIDIES TO LOMBOK
The Indonesian government has introduced flight subsidies, both domestic and international, for travel to Lombok throughout 2024, with the goal of enhancing accessibility and affordability for those eager to explore the island. The Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) Tourism Office emphasised that these subsidies, effective from May to August 2024, are intended to bolster Lombok’s tourism sector, striving for a target of 2.5 million tourist visits by year’s end.
The subsidies will benefit not only Lombok but also other Super Priority Areas such as Labuan Bajo. This initiative aims to boost tourism and entice more travellers to discover the breathtaking landscapes and cultural heritage of the NTB Province.
