Construction is well underway of the new Samara Bay Clubhouse. This iconic destination will be perched at the top of our Samara Bay site, offering unparalleled views of South Lombok’s pristine coastline with a restaurant, cocktail bar, swimming pools, gym and spa for land and villa owners and their guests to enjoy.

Villa Construction Underway
The spectacular view from one of our first villas to complete construction at Samara Bay, featuring outdoor sunken seating, an infinity pool and spacious outdoor living area.
We ended 2021 with several major milestones, namely, putting the finishing touches on our first villas at Samara Bay complete with electricity, wi-fi, air conditioning, and all of the interior furnishings. Due to increasing villa demand, we’ve recently increased our power capacity at Samara Bay. An additional eight villas are scheduled to begin construction soon, including our first villas at Samara Hills.

Those who have been part of the Samara Lombok journey since the beginning can appreciate the new level of accessibility we have reached with the completion of paved roads leading to both of our sites. What was once a long, treacherous journey of several hours from the airport, requiring a car, 4×4 and a rigorous off-trail hike, is now 25 minute scenic drive along smooth, paved roads.

Organic Gardens at Samara Hills
Samara Hills is a natural oasis with a greenhouse, nursery, Hospitality School, winding trails for hiking, cycling & jogging, organic tropical fruit & vegetable gardens, and paddy fields.
Our Lombok team has been busy completing infrastructure work, and cutting land plots in preparation for our upcoming villa construction at Samara Hills. We have also been continuing to nurture the Organic Gardens, which have seen abundant growth during the wet season. The Organic Garden Plots are situated within a calming oasis of rice paddy fields, tropical fruit & vegetable gardens, and dramatic ocean views. The lush, tropical scenery will create spectacular surroundings for our walking, hiking, and cycling trails, connecting villas with our onsite facilities, as well as the white sandy beach below.
