Warm greetings from Samara Lombok! We are delighted to announce that after 2 years, Indonesia has re-opened its borders for international tourists with no quarantine on arrival. To mark this occasion, Samara Lombok will be hosting monthly tours of our sites and surrounding area on the south coast of Lombok. These site visits will be held on the last weekend of every month from April through October with the following inclusions:
✧ Airport transfers
✧ Hotel bookings
✧ Guided site visit of Samara Lombok including an introduction to our team, tour of Samara Bay Clubhouse, completed villas, villas under construction, available land plots, Organic Gardens, Community Empowerment programmes, Hospitality School, local beaches and the Mandalika project
✧ Cocktail reception in one of our completed villas
If you decide to buy a land plot following your trip, Samara Lombok will cover the cost of your site visit by subtracting from your purchase price. Of course, if you are unavailable to visit during the promotion window, you are welcome to arrange a visit at your convenience.

Sustainability Update

At Samara Lombok, we take a holistic approach to sustainability, focused on community empowerment initiatives and working hand-in-hand with our community to preserve the local environment.
Last year, we completed construction on our open-air classroom as the first phase of our Hospitality School. The diverse range of classes includes English, math, dance, music, and Hospitality Training, which will prepare graduates for the many employment opportunities at Samara Lombok, and the upcoming hotels and restaurants being built on the island.

Food production is also scaling up at our Greenhouse, where organic vegetables are grown, washed and packaged to be distributed to our local community. We are now providing fresh produce to approximately 500 local people in Lombok and will continue to expand our reach as development of the site progresses.
We have also started construction on our Back of House area for our Samara Lombok staff. This bamboo structure is scheduled to complete in April and will include a restaurant for all staff utilising the fresh, organic produce grown onsite.
