We’ve seen tremendous progress in 2021, as Samara Bay continues to evolve from a construction site into luxury villas with fully-integrated resort facilities set to start construction later this year. At Samara Hills, our Sustainability project is taking shape with a number of new developments to report on this month including our first Farm buildings finishing construction as well as extensive fruit and vegetable planting complete.

Starting this month, we are adding in a new section to our blogs to showcase the latest villa construction and design updates at Samara Lombok. We are hoping to start construction of a further 15 villas this year with currently 25 villas under design across Samara Bay and Samara Hills. Plant nursery construction at Samara Hills
We’ve also made great progress since our last blog at our second site, Samara Hills, where a number of sustainability initiatives are underway.
The highlights include:
✓ New plant nursery (pictured above) has been built
✓ Greenhouse is under construction
✓ First rice harvest at has come to fruition at Samara Hills Farm; rice is now being distributed to the local villages
✓ The first 200 fruit trees have been planted in the organic gardens
✓ Finalising the design of our first phase of our Hospitality School, which will be dedicated to the education & empowerment of our local community
✓ Installed solar power electricity and water irrigation system to optimise food production
✓ Completed two bore wells
Our Samara Hills Farm will be the centre-piece for all Samara Lombok plot owners to enjoy. From pristine ocean views lined with lush, tropical gardens and rice paddy fields, to the winding Farm Park trails perfectly suited for hiking and mountain biking, this site is designed for your wellbeing, relaxation and enjoyment.
