LATEST CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
This month, we’ve continued to make steady headway across key developments at Samara Lombok. At Samara Bay, progress on the Clubhouse Suite remains on track, with glasswork installation ongoing, interior room mockups taking shape, and the brick wall construction now nearing 90% completion.
Over at Samara Hills, work on the Samara Hills Hotel continues with ceiling installation underway. We’re also focused on upholding our quality standards, conducting thorough inspections and quality control for the stonework in the main building, as well as the architectural and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) works.

SAMARA LOMBOK X RASCAL VOYAGES
In case you missed it, we’re thrilled to announce an exciting partnership that brings the spirit of adventure ashore— Rascal Voyages, Southeast Asia’s leading name in marine safaris and island escapades, will officially operate all water, land, and marine experiences at Samara Lombok, beginning April 2026.
Known for their iconic handcrafted phinisi yachts and immersive journeys through Komodo, Raja Ampat, and beyond, Rascal Voyages has spent the past eight years crafting experiences that go beyond the ordinary. Now, for the very first time, they’re bringing their signature blend of storytelling, stewardship, and barefoot luxury to land.
This collaboration will anchor Samara’s guest experience in purpose-driven exploration, offering everything from curated island adventures to ocean expeditions—each infused with Rascal’s soulful approach to travel.
As part of this partnership, Rascal Voyages will also lead the development of a Marine Biology Centre and Science Lab at Samara Lombok. This dynamic, guest-facing space will offer educational programs on reef health and marine life, interactive experiences for all ages, and support for coral restoration and local conservation initiatives.

At Samara Lombok, we believe that strong communities begin with strong classrooms. This month, our community team proudly hosted a 2-day Teacher’s Workshop, welcoming educators from our local school partners.
Initiated by local primary schools in response to updates in the national English curriculum, the workshop provided a collaborative space for teachers to come together, share insights, and support each other in enhancing English language learning for their students.
It was a meaningful step toward building deeper educational partnerships—and fostering a culture of shared learning that strengthens both our schools and our wider community.
CELEBRATING OUR RICE HARVEST
The rice fields at Samara Lombok have come alive with golden hues, marking the start of a season deeply rooted in tradition and community. Our recent rice harvest was more than just a gathering of grains—it was a celebration of nature’s abundance and the people who nurture it; showcasing the harmony between sustainable practices and local wisdom.
Our team and local farmers worked side by side to bring in the season’s yield—grains that will go on to nourish the community and be enjoyed at our own farm-to-table experiences. From field to table, this is sustainability in action. Each harvest reminds us of our commitment not only to the land, but also to the people who call it home.
