We have just released the new Clubhouse (C) Plots nestled into Samara Bay’s lush tropical hillside overlooking the ocean. Samara Lombok had the unique privilege of cherry-picking premium hillside land back in 2008, which guarantees unobstructed ocean views from every land plot, while still being a 30-second walk to the clubhouse and walking distance from the beach.
Samara Lombok land plot and villa owners and their guests will enjoy seclusion in the embrace of tropical palms and abundant vegetation; whilst also having immediate access to a 24-hour concierge, restaurants, a wellness centre, gym and the new Samara Bay Clubhouse.

The new Samara Bay Clubhouse is at the perfect elevation to enjoy 360 views of South Lombok’s pristine coastline, with cocktails, fine dining and a chic atmosphere, exclusive to all Samara Lombok land plots, villa owners and their guests.
Sustainability: Samara Organic Gardens

Our Samara Organic Gardens is a core component of our Sustainability program located within the heart of our Samara Hills Estate. We have completed our rice paddy fields planting (progress photographed above), and now this month we begin planting organic fruit and vegetable gardens and start work on our hospitality program to help train the local community in hospitality with a view to offering them employment in the future.

This month we introduced a new plant Nursery, where hundreds of thousands of seedlings will be planted to enhance Samara Lombok’s natural surroundings and provide our Samara Lombok clients with a variety of options to personalize the outdoor spaces of villas. In February, we will also be planting tropical fruit trees at Samara Lombok Farm including mango, avocado, lemon, lime and papaya.

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with the award-winning 5-star luxury resort, Viceroy Bali. This month, four members of our local team on Lombok will travel to Bali for the start of our internship programme to learn from Viceroy’s seasoned experts on their approach to organic, farm-to-table cuisine.
Later next month, Viceroy Bali’s Executive Chef, Wouter Eggermont will be onsite at our Samara Lombok Farm, consulting our team as we prepare to incorporate the same organic farming principles at our restaurants here at Samara Lombok. It’s an absolute privilege to partner with industry leaders, and equipped our local community with the skills needed to thrive as Lombok emerges as Indonesia’s next tourist destination.
